This rotator was specifically designed for the rotation of large samples with ultra low wobble. The 12.7 mm aperture enables optical transmission experiments.
The positioner is designed for ultra-high vacuum with pressures down to 5 E-11 mbar (/UHV) .
A combination of beryllium copper and titanium is the material used for this cryogenic nanopositioner, as it is nonmagnetic, and reliable low temperature performance.
