This rotator was specifically designed for the rotation of large samples with ultra low wobble. The 12.7 mm aperture enables optical transmission experiments.
The positioner is designed for temperatures between 1K..423 K and pressures down to 5 E-11 mbar (/LT/UHV).
A combination of beryllium copper and titanium is the material used for this cryogenic nanopositioner, as it is nonmagnetic, and reliable low temperature performance.
