The ANPz101 provides high resolution z-nanopositioning for setups to fit 2" diameter setups. A powerful xyz nanopositioning unit is possible when combining two ANPx101 with an ANPz101 positioner.
The positioner is designed for temperatures between mK..373 K and pressures down to 1 E-8 mbar.
For ultra low temperatures in the mK range, a body of beryllium copper is optimal for measurements that are sensitive to small magnetic fields, as titanium can superconduct and expel magentic flux to change the sample environment.
