With its extremely small diameter the D1.2/F18 sensor head is perfectly suited for vibration and displacement measurements at confined machine spaces. Despite the focusing optics and the miniaturization, the sensor head allows travel ranges of more than 5 mm at relatively high working distances, e.g. 30 mm on mirrors.
The sensor head is designed for ambient conditions and includes a glass fiber (length: 5 m) connecting the sensor head to the interferometer controller.
